Who we are, and what you are agreeing to
Firebird is operated by Firebird LLC, 1420 NW Gilman Blvd Ste 2 #8044, Issaquah, WA 98027, United States. Firebird is offered in the United States. By creating an account or using Firebird, you agree to these terms; if you do not agree with them, do not use the service. Firebird is built for executives and is not intended for anyone under 18.
How we handle your data is a separate document, and the more important one: our privacy policy. Nothing in these terms reduces what that policy promises.
The service
Firebird is a search-management platform and structured program for executives running a job search: it guides your daily work, holds the network you build, and gives you an AI assistant for feedback on what you write. It is a tool for running your own search. Firebird is not a recruiting agency, a placement service or a career-coaching engagement, and we do not promise that using it will get you hired — nobody honestly can.
Your account
You sign in with LinkedIn, Google or Microsoft; Firebird holds no password for you. Your account is personal: keep control of the sign-in provider account you use for it, because anyone who can sign in with it is, to us, you. One account is for one person — it is your search, your data, your workspace.
Your content
What you put into Firebird stays yours. Your deliverables, your notes, your contacts, and the documents in your own drive are your property, not ours. You give us only the permission we need to run the service for you — to store your work, show it back to you, and send to the AI assistant what you ask it to read, as described in the privacy policy. We claim no other rights over it, and we do not use it for anything else.
You are responsible for what you record. In particular, your Firebird network holds details about other people — treat that information with the care you would want for your own, and use it only for your search.
Trial and subscription
Firebird starts with a free trial and continues with a paid subscription. Payment runs through Stripe, on Stripe's own pages: your card details never reach Firebird.
The subscription is yours to end, without asking us: My subscription in your profile settings opens Stripe's portal, where you can cancel, change your payment method and download your invoices. Cancelling during a free trial means you are never charged. Cancelling a paid subscription keeps your access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Closing your account cancels the subscription immediately; if you return within the 30-day window described in the privacy policy, your work returns but your subscription does not, so you will be asked to subscribe again.
Prices are shown before you subscribe. If a price changes, it applies from your next billing period, and you will have seen it before it applies — never retroactively.
Acceptable use
Use Firebird for your own job search. Do not resell access to it or share your account; do not try to break into it, probe it, or reach another person's data; do not use it to harass anyone or to break the law. That is the whole list — we would rather keep it short and mean it.
The AI assistant
The assistant's feedback is generated by an AI model. It is often useful and sometimes wrong, and it does not know what it cannot see. Read what it produces before you rely on it — it is your resume, your pitch and your name on the document, not the assistant's. Its output is not legal, financial or professional advice.
Ending things
You can leave whenever you want. Delete my account in the app closes your account immediately and erases everything 30 days later, as the privacy policy describes — and it stops the billing the moment you ask.
We can close an account too, if it is used in breach of these terms — abuse of the service, of other people's data, or of the people behind it. Unless the situation makes it impossible, we will tell you why and give you the chance to take your data with you first.
What we promise, and what we cannot
We work to keep Firebird available, correct and secure, and the privacy policy describes the controls that exist and are exercised. But Firebird is provided “as is”: we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and to the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties. To the same extent, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, we update this page and its date. If a change meaningfully reduces your rights, we will tell you inside the app before it takes effect, rather than relying on you having read this page.
